About the Founder

Lori Bolen, PCC, CBFRLC, PPMF

Hi. I’m Lori Bolen, the founder of Building Bridges to Recovery. I’m a wife, mom, and grandma whose life has been touched deeply by substance use disorder and deeper still by a sovereign, all-powerful, loving God.

Having lived with SUD my entire life, I understand the chaos, the confusion, and the desperation family members feel because I’ve been there. I also know the peace, the clarity, and the hope God offers.


Substance use disorder has a profound impact on the family and friends of the one struggling with addiction and I am here to help you embrace your own personal recovery, while also helping your loved one take steps of their own toward recovery.

I received my Bible training at Liberty University, as well as through years of personal study and corporate worship. I am a certified Family Recovery Coach with the BALM® Institute for Family Recovery Services; a facilitator of the BALM® 12 Principles of Family Recovery, and a certified life coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF.) I am also a trained Dave Ramsey Financial Coach, as well as a Prayer Powered Mastermind Facilitator.


I am honored to say I have been recognized as one of the Top Family Recovery Coaches
by Coach Foundation.


 My calling is to share the both the struggles and the blessings of my own personal journey as I walk the path of recovery with you and your family.
